Latrigg is a well known fell (hill) that over looks Keswick in Cumbria, from which you can see for miles around the Lake District including the lakes of Bassenthwaite and Derwent Water, and I was booked by Dianne and Mark for their wedding photography, half way up Latrigg, overlooking Keswick from the bench where Mark proposed.
This is one of those wedding photography bookings that you get really excited about, and when Dianne and Mark first contacted me about their plans for their wedding day I could not wait to take their wedding photographs for them.
Mark and the wedding guests assembled at the bottom of a footpath that heads up to the bench where the wedding was taking place. I took some wedding photographs of Mark and his groomsmen and some candid photographs of the guests, and as they set off up Latrigg I awaited Dianne and her bridal party.
There is something quite special about the area and the opportunities for some breathtaking landscaped photography and I was able to not only add the bride and groom to the mix, but the whole wedding party and wedding ceremony too. What a way to capture some amazing wedding photographs.
My favourite moments from the day included the cheer as Dianne and the father of the bride approached the bench for the ceremony, and the group photograph that I took of the wedding party overlooking Bassenthwaite.
It really was a special day for wedding photography on Latrigg, near Keswick, and I would like to wish Dianne and Mark all the best for their future as Mr & Mrs.
