Cockermouth Family Photography for Lesley-Ann and Andy | Lifestyle Photographer Cumbria

I’ve known Lesley-Ann for a few years through my running club in Cockermouth. During that time her and Andy were married and also welcomed their daughter, Isla, into the world. We met on a beautiful September day for their family photoshoot, and chose Harris Park in Cockermouth as the location. Harris Park is huge and there are so many places for great family photographs. That afternoon we had the gorgeous autumn colours as a backdrop, and beautiful golden light shining through the trees.

Some of my favourite photographs from my photography session with Lesley-Ann and Andy were when they sat on the path. The fallen leaves were scattered around the three of them like confetti and the light coming through the trees was stunning. Making for some really beautiful bokeh in the background. We made use of a few different locations around Harris Park for more family photography. This involved a competition to see who was best at sticking their tongues out (I think Isla won). We then finished with photographs in the play area, Isla’s favourite is definitely the slide.

It really is a pleasure, as a photographer, to be asked to photograph families in amazing location throughout cumbria. Such as Harris Park in Cockermouth. I was able to capture some great family photography moments with Lesley-Ann, Andy and Isla and I am looking forward to our next family photoshoot when Isla is a little older.
