The Broadoaks Country House Hotel Elopement of Andrea and David | Windermere Elopement Photographer

There are a handful of venues that feel like they have become second homes over the years. One of those venues is Broadoaks Country House Hotel near Windermere where I had the pleasure of looking after the photography for Andrea and David on their summer elopement wedding. Andrea also asked me to be her wedding makeup artist as well as her and David’s Lake District wedding photographer.

We had beautiful summer’s day and I was able to put my new Sony Alpha camera equipment through it’s paces for the first time as a wedding photographer. I had just switched from Canon to Sony and I must have looked like a child in a sweet shop playing with my photography toys! I think that we got some amazing wedding photographs and it really felt like I was part of the family for the day at Broadoaks Country House Hotel.
