The Grange Hotel Wedding of Megan and Keiron | Grange-Over-Sands Wedding Photographer
I had first met Megan and Keiron at The Grange Hotel for their pre-wedding photoshoot last year. I was looking forward to catching up with them both again, and with the car packed it was an early start to head down to Grange-Over-Sands to photograph their wedding day. Megan had also booked me to look after her wedding makeup, which I attended to first before starting my wedding photographer duties. During which I was able to capture a few photos of bridal preparations before putting my makeup brushes and heading outside to meet Keiron and his best man. With the makeup kit packed away it was then time for some pre-ceremony photography before heading to photograph the wedding ceremony itself. Conducted by a friend of Megan and Keiron’s it was full of joy, emotion and one or two happy tears.
It is a real joy as a Lake District Wedding Photographer to photograph the weddings of happy couples throughout the Lake District including those held in beautiful hotels such as The Grange Hotel in Grange-Over-Sands.
After Megan and Keiron’s wedding ceremony there was a brilliant surprise waiting for them outside the hotel. Organised by Kate, the mother of the bride, there were a couple of reindeers waiting to greet the newly weds. It’s not every wedding that you get to photograph reindeer either, maybe I should add Reindeer Photography to my services to go along side wedding photographer? Next up was the confetti photograph! I love the confetti tunnel at a wedding, or the confetti guard of honour as I like to call it. Such a joy to photograph so much fun and laughter with all of the natural expressions of everyone taking part. A great way to get some great wedding photographs.
Before the wedding breakfast I had chance to whisk Megan and Keiron away for their bride and groom wedding photographs. From The Grange Hotel we were only a short walk away from Grange Over Sands railway station and Grange Over Sands Promenade. It was time to be creative for something a little different for them both, not just your usual wedding photography you could say. Afterwards it was back to The Grange Hotel for the wedding breakfast, speeches and then the evening’s celebrations!
I had such a fab day with Megan and Keiron at their wedding at The Grange Hotel in Grange Over Sands. It was great to photograph their wedding, and it truly is a joy as a wedding photographer to travel all over the Lake District and Cumbria and meet couples, such as Megan and Keiron on there special day.
